Per passenger, set by EU law, whatever your ticket cost.
SkyDelay is an independent service, not affiliated with Transavia.
Fixed EU amounts for a delay of 3 hours or more or a late cancellation, set by distance, not by ticket price.
Measured on arrival, when the aircraft doors open.
Compensation comes on top of the refund or replacement flight.
Own pilots or cabin crew: not an extraordinary circumstance (EU Court of Justice, 2021).
The airline’s responsibility. We demand the root cause of the delay.
No compensation for genuine extraordinary circumstances: dangerous weather, air traffic control or airport staff strikes, security threats. We check the reason on every claim.
Refused, ignored or offered a voucher
The most common reason for a refusal. We check the real cause of the delay (weather, air traffic control, operational data) and challenge refusals that don’t hold up.
Transavia can’t force one on you: compensation is owed in money unless you agree to a voucher in writing (Article 7 of the regulation).
We chase, then go to the enforcement body or the courts if needed, at our cost.
Same brand, two airlines
The two-letter code in your flight number shows which airline operated it. For you it makes no difference: both owe the same compensation.
French airline based at Paris-Orly, Lyon and Nantes among others.
Dutch airline based at Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven.
Both are EU airlines: all their flights departing from the EU are covered, and so are their flights to Europe from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia or Turkey.
Flight number and date, about two minutes. We check your right to compensation straight away.
We file the claim, rebut refusals and go to the regulator or court if needed.
Compensation lands in your account. Our 44% commission is only due if we succeed.
We carry all lawyer and court costs.
From the 100+ Transavia claims passengers have trusted us with since June 2026:
€250 (under 1,500 km), €400 (1,500–3,500 km) or €600 (over 3,500 km) per ticketed passenger. The amount does not depend on what you paid.
In most cases, yes, if you were told less than 14 days before departure. The ticket refund (or another flight) and the €250–€600 compensation add up.
Yes, if Transavia’s own pilots or cabin crew strike: the EU Court of Justice (case C-28/20, 2021) rules this is not an extraordinary circumstance. An air traffic control strike usually does not give a right to compensation.
It depends on the country where the claim is filed: up to 5 years in France, 2 years in the Netherlands. An older flight may still qualify: the free check tells you.
Yes, for free, with Transavia’s own claim form. Use us if you’d rather not handle refusals, reminders and, if needed, court action yourself: you only pay our 44% commission if we recover the compensation.
Nothing if we recover nothing. If we succeed, our commission is 44% of the amount (50% if court action is needed). We carry all lawyer and court costs.
Yes, if Transavia operated it and it landed in the EU: Transavia is an EU airline, so Regulation 261/2004 also covers its flights to Europe.
Check your flight in two minutes. You only pay if we win.
